Vox: Now Standard

with 9 comments

I was upgraded to a standard Vox account, so I've got a Vox blog up and running now. I've started adding CD's, books and movies that I own, and I'm really digging the interface. Everything is extremely easy to use and really does blend the best features from LiveJournal, Movable Type and WordPress to make one killer blogging/social networking platform.

I have unlimited starter invites to give out, so if you want one, leave a comment on this post with an email address and name. These invites won't give you blogging priveleges, but they are slowly upgrading the starter accounts to standard accounts and you'll be blogging in no time!

At some point, my Vox is going to become my main blog. I've already imported a good majority of my record collection and some of my photos, and the ability to have all that stuff in one place instead of spread out over Flickr, WordPress and others is incredibly appealing.  Vox truly is everything I thought it would be back when I first heard of Project Comet.

  2. Hi! I’d love an invite if you’ve got any spare and don’t mind giving one to a complete stranger. (I hope it isn’t cheeky of me to ask!) I’ve been with LJ for a few years and am over 40, so would like to see what Vox has to offer for the “old folks”. Thanks and sorry if this is just too cheeky.

  5. Hi there. ^_^ I came across this blog while searching for “vox invite” on Google. If it wouldn’t be any trouble for you, I’d be very happy if you could send me a Vox invite. I do understand that you don’t know anything about me, so it’s totally cool if you don’t feel like sending one… I’m only asking in case you do feel like it. ^^ I hope to hear back from you. Have a wonderful Friday~!

  6. Hello,
I am a sculptor/photographer/designer currently using WordPress on my site. I have been considering either a move to Typepad or MovableType, or using one of them on an entirely new site. Im never completely satisfied with an existing design, and have taken on the challenge of making the horrendous code of MySpace a little more aesthetically pleasing. Ive done this through some help from others as well as a little XyleScope-ing. Im looking to get a standard invite, but I suppose a starter will do. Really, I just want a networking system to keep in touch with all my far-flung acquaintences that doesnt suck like MySpace. You know, one that is actually usefull. Is that to much to ask?

  8. Hey! If you’ve still got starter invites I’d love to try out Vox.. it really does look like the perfect integration of everything, and I’ve been offline for a while out of boredom, but Vox looks like it may be just what I need to get my blogging interests back up! Thanks in advance.

  9. There aren’t starter invites anymore, and I don’t have any regular invites. When I get some more I’ll send you one, though!
