Below are 2 e-mails that I sent regarding SuckCap...oop''s Snocap- What Ever!

I can't begin to tell you how displeased I am with my current account. Nothing works on it. I can't hear the music I upload, and I have to reset my password every time I long on to Snocap. I am sending you a copy of the letter that I have been sending to your staff at Snocap. I am also sending a copy of the letter I wrote to Myspace regarding Snocap.

I really need this account and I don't want to cancel, but I will do just that if the problems are not resolved soon.

Regards,
David Hope

I have "2" problems.

1. I uploaded my tunes via snocap to my "myspace" account. The tunes have been there for almost 4 days and every time I try to click on the track to listen to it it reads, "We're Sorry! Our sample of this song is temporarily unavailable.

2. I have to reset my password every time I use my account. I "know" that I am typing in my password correctly, and I simply can't be wrong after redoing this step over "8" times. For some reason, your site does not store my password.

Please advise.

(Second e-mail)

Dear My Space and Snocap:

I know that myspace and snocap are 2 different compnays;
however, I feel that myspace should see to it that if they
allow sites such as "Snocap" to operate on myspace, snocap
should at least provide a higher quality of service.

I am heart broke over the failures connected to my Snocap
account. First, I up loaded my songs over 5 days ago and
every time I click on the visible listing to play the tune I
get a message that reads, " We’re Sorry! Our sample of this
song is temporarily unavailable." So, I delete the
selections, thinking maybe I did something wrong, I follow
the required steps "to the exact," and still I get, " We’re
Sorry! Our sample of this song is temporarily unavailable!"

Second, I have to reset my password every time I log on to
Snocap! It will "Not" store my password.

I have "4" internet radio interviews next month. It is very,
very important for this artist to be able to sell and
promote my material on Myspace. I have written "many"
e-mails to Snocap support. I have not received any response
in over 3 months of trying to deal with them. I am so fed up
with Snocap that I wish I could just make my Snocap player
on my myspace account go away! Now I am stuck with a player
that will not allow downloads. It makes "Me, as well as my
site" look untrustworthy and foolish!

In close I am asking you "Myspace" to please intervene on my
behalf. Maybe if you point out that it not only makes Snocap
look bad to do business this way, it also reflects on Myspace.

I am going to copy paste this e-mail and also send it to
Snocap support. If it is like all of my other attempts
"unanswered" it won’’t shock me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I have contacted the I guess Snocap company 18 times in emails and I always get a generated response telling me how busy they are. I have been with them for four months selling with 20 different artists and I haven't seen one red cent. Nor have I been able to find a phone number or human being that works for them. Has anyone ever made any money using this so called company. Please contact me. I would like to see how you did it........!!!!!At this point I am canceling every service that I have with them and recommending to every soul I can think of not to ever go near them. This is the biggest scam I've seen since Watergate. Can you tell I'm pissed off yet Snocap? It would be real nice if you answer your f****** emails SNocAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for f****** starters! Snocap you should change your name to Snoballed!!!!

Think about it. They dont pay out until your account reaches $20.00 in sales. When they launched, thousands of indie artists signed up, like I did. I sold about $12.00 worth of tunes. That was over a year ago, and since I did not hit the $20 mark, I have not been paid, but Snocap has had my $12 the whole time, multiply that by thousands, and you will see that Snocap all of the sudden had hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest, and make money on the interest, while never paying the artists. WHat a brilliant plan!! peace

SNOCAP is a total SCAM! They don't pay the artists and their customer service is nonexistent.

Need proof? Here's plenty:

Avoid SNOCAP at all costs. Like several here have already said, it's a total ripoff!

SNOCAP is a rip off.

I have a music snocap page and a personal / buyer account. they took my money via paypal. ........I bought one of my own tracks and when i went to my music
it went through and i downloaded the song.
however when i went to my music store they never told me about the sale. it said that i hd 0 balance. so they took my money and i didn't get paid.
and now i can't even log in anymore! and when i try changing my password, to see if that solves the problem......i don't get the email from them with the "link to change password" that they claim they send.
I can't get get rid of the store...it's stuck to my myspace profile......when i go to edit my myspace page and click on edit music store, it just links me to snocap.com......but i can't even log in!!!!
I'm stuck to that store on my myspace page.....and even though they could be making money from it , i'm not making any money from it ......
they don't have any kind of customer service...so i'm stuck!!!!!
how can i get rid of this thing???????????!!!!!

I've had a Snocap account since early-mid 2k6. Although I have not had some of the upload issues mentioned here, I've had several customers I know personally say they've had issues downloading their songs after purchase. I've even had to resort to sending them our songs via YouSendit. And thats just the people that I know. Some of the others I didn't know didnt take it too well. After several attempts to get a response from Snocap, Ive pretty much given up on their support system. It really is lame. I've only received their crappy auto replies on each case except for when there was that dispute mixup when CDBABY registerd a ton of their artists songs. THAT issue eventually resolved by a letter being sent from CDBABY to them explaining I DID have the rights to sell a remix we did. All in all, I hope Snocap turns out to be something worth keeping. I'm a little uneased about some claims i've heard were artist have had tracks purchased, but not show up in their tracks sold summary. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully we won't see a "Snocap fraud" article in Yahoo someday. Thanks for posting this article and sharing what info they've provided you.

SAme trouble as many of you. My songs wont appear in the store. They indicate that the MP3s are uploaded but they are not recognized by the store. I tried to contact costumer support to no avail. I have decided NOT to use them at all. There are other options like creating links to buy your ssongs and CDs through CDBaby.com. They are ALWAYS on the ball and deserve the respect they get.
WHat would ou expect from a Rupert Murdoch company? DO you think they give a shit about anything but making maney? I don't.

I know for a fact that many of my readers have had tons of trouble with Snocap. Given that I haven't actually used it myself yet, I can't say why your mp3 files wouldn't be working, but I know there are other cases just like yours.

The Snocap guys are usually pretty good about commenting on user issues, so I would expect a response from them here at some point over the next few days.
