We’re back in the studio, this time with producer John Glover, for more work on our new album. It’s the first time we’ve worked with an outside producer before, and John is sheer genius in production. He’s worked with artists ranging from Jaci Velasquez to The Finalist, and just in the 8 hours or so that we’ve worked together, I can see he’s going to help us create the best album we’ve ever had.

We are in the midst of tracking guitars — that will probably take 4-5 days. At that point, we’ll move on to the Rhodes and bass guitar, and finish it up with 3-4 days of tracking vocals. I’m actually quite nervous about the vocal sessions, as John is a perfectionist and I am not — so it will be both great and nerve-wracking to have someone there critiquing the whole process. I’m excited to see what the end result will be.
