I’m going to start doing beer reviews. My recent trip to Denmark has given me the revelation that I love drinking finer beers, love introducing them to folks, love writing, and so I figured I might as well write about them.
First up is the new love of my life. I have pledged my eternal devotion to Wexler’s Irish Cream Ale. I don’t even know if you can buy this anywhere other than Alamo Drafthouse, and it is expensive as I can imagine beer probably gets, but it is SO delicious. It’s the first time I can remember drinking a beer and actually savoring the aftertaste instead of looking for something to wash it down with. It has this crazy widget-thing in the can that automaticaly makes it bubbly and frothy, and the result is a full-bodied but extremely creamy and easy beer.
